And the scent of mock orange
drifts through the window.
How can I rest?
How can I be content
when there is still
that odor in the world?

I’ve never heard of mock orange; now I want to find some!
and did you post this at 3:00 in the morning?!
Yes. Not a good night for sleep. Terrible actually.
sorry to hear that; I thought you had figured out that sleep thing a few weeks ago…
love the posts
Lovely…perhaps inspire by some other Spring Photos on a beautiful day?
Of course!
Thought so…no beautiful Spring weather today or for the next several days…started in the night, Rain,Rain and deluge…he picked a small still tender stalk of Rhubarb this morning, adding it to some store bought strawberries, simmered and put on top of plain yogurt which graced the homemade pancakes, then the yummy was sprinkled with powered sugar…a tiny piece of chicken sausage , seasoned & a side of scrambled eggs…may have to take some photos with dripping rain drops..
Gorgeous image.
It is!
Lovely white. I would love to see more of your own writing.
I would too! Thank you!
