Welcome to the world of reality — there is no audience. No one to applaud, to admire. No one to see you. Do you understand? Here is the truth — actual heroism receives no ovation, entertains no one. No one queues up to see it. No one is interested… True heroism is you, alone, in a designated work space. True heroism is minutes, hours, weeks, year upon year of the quiet, precise, judicious exercise of probity and care — with no one there to see or cheer. This is the world.

Okay. Let’s break it down. We don’t need to please others or achieve anything on anyone’s behalf. We are heroes to ourselves and honor our own values.
Isn’t this awesome and freeing?!!
So why is this guy so down on reality? Unless you are still attached to the belief that accolades and recognition from the past are important.
We are all on our own journeys.
How sad he commuted suicide at age 46.

We are all on our own journeys. Yes. And we can read the same patch of words and take away vastly different conclusions. How great to be Human!!!

Change the hair and that is me… except I am sitting here, my feet bubbling in a foot bath, hoping, praying this will help me so I can sleep off today’s heroism…

Sometimes just getting through a day takes an act of unrecognized heroism

I wonder if you like the red heads because of Charlie Brown…the little red headed girl was part of the story line…/// unrecognized actions are a way of life for all of us..and somewhere in the past I’ve read something similar…/// God sees all…///at times I prefer to act or behave, Anonymously…
