“A baby in a hospital in Bangkok is dressed in a dog costume to celebrate the coming Year of the Dog.”
And here I thought every year is the Year of the Dog…
Notes:
- Fun Fact: Our President Donald Trump was born in 1946, also the year of the dog. But that is not good news for the US president, as Chinese culture predicts a year of bad fortune for anyone that shares the same zodiac sign. (The Guardian, Dec 29, 2017)

She looks none too happy, poor thing!
Oh wait. My new beau is a Dog too… bad fortune is not what we would like…
No, we don’t…
Hahaha great one David
🙂
May the year of the dog bring you a puppy 😊
Yes! May it!

Aww … how cute!! Poor kid!! … #YearOfTheDog
May be Mister Trump turns out to be a dog. You never know. Or that he is a communist after all. What will reveal next year. Nobody knows. Only Trump. And don’t worry that you won’t find out. He will let you know for sure.
No doubt about that. 😬
So does this mean they won’t eat dog this year?
OMG!
Well, they do. I find it horrifying. Just not sure what happens in the Year of the Dog….
May we all have good dogs in our lives in the year ahead 😉
Love the picture, and find it very amusing…remembering my children as infants: we have pictures of my daughter screaming her head off because I insisted we get a photo of her in her beautiful baby bonnet! She became an international model so she changed her attitude about being an object of interest (now she’s a corporate financial person!) Wonder what will develop for this adorable screaming year of the dog celebrant!
Smiling. From screamer to International model. Now that’s something!
Smiling. Truth!
this dog has a full set of healthy lungs – a good omen.
True!
What better creature than a dog! I was born in the Year of the Snake, so there’s no donning my fangs and doing a bit of hissing in 2018. My daughter was born in the Year of the Dog, so I’m looking forward to good things for her.
Yes, here’s to all great things and a warm gentle breeze at your back.
