Wow, I’m getting overheated

running-gif
I have never taken such care with anything. That is my problem with life, I rush through it, like I’m being chased. Even things whose whole point is slowness like drinking relaxing tea. When I drink relaxing tea, I suck it down as if I’m in a contest for who can drink relaxing tea the quickest. Or if I’m in a hot tub with some other people and we’re all looking up at the stars, I’ll be the first to say, It’s so beautiful here. The sooner you say, It’s so beautiful here, the quicker you can say, Wow, I’m getting overheated.

  1. The words echo in my head “what really is the hurry” (except going to the dentist or the doctor)…that photo? Made me dizzy. Which I just realized – duh – was the point. More coffee, sipped slowly.

  2. If it’s not rushing through an event, experience or life, it’s being bound to social media. Either way, we’re missing so much.

  3. It’s horrible…that so many of us are caught in that so much of the time. Every day I need to keep reminding myself to…just breathe, slow down. It’s what happens when we are caught up in lives that are so deadline-driven (mine is). One day, life will be better, I hope.

  4. I have had to slow down…I tend to trip a lot if I don’t or cut myself when I am cooking, or stub my toes when I am just walking through the house–all painful reminders to slow down

  5. LOL I don’t look at it as a problem…not really…I can take in a lot in a short time, so I feel as if I’m just squeezing more into my life than someone who doesn’t move as fast as I do. LOL I can sit and work on something for three weeks or do a job in a few hours…I would go insane if things took 3 weeks. I’m fast and that’s okay with me. 🙂 No problem at all. LOL I like it.
