Have you had one, DK? I’ve always wanted one of the giant breeds–a Dane or an Irish Wolfhound, but I can’t bear the thought of saying goodbye that’s so young (I believe their average lifespan is 5-9 years…)

they are just the cutest things in the kingdom and one could live in my yard at the cottage and mow/eat the front yard to it’s heart content. then play with the gentle giant after, perhaps.

We used to have big dogs – and I loved it!! This guy is absolutely magnificent!! Awwwwwwwwwww puppy!!! I wonder if he and Teddy (who’s all of eleven pounds) would be best buds..

This Great Dane (puppy or not) would not pass the weight limit for dogs in our condo. The pygmy goat, now that’s another story!

I’m assuming the leash is for show. LOL I would love to have a dog that big. Beautiful, truly beautiful. And he’s only a puppy:) Love it.

I am unsure if that is a statue or a living dog, though I know for sure that a dog of that size will be taking me for a walk rather than the other way round.

I’ve had 4 Great Danes. Really amazing dogs! Unfortunately this particular photo is a fake but they are wonderful, huge, huggable dogs!

This is angled photography…no great Dane is that big… I breed them..the tallest Dane is 44″ tall.
