How Much Fun You’ll Have Tonight

New Year's Eve Party

Hmmmmmm.
I might add the following to the y-axis criteria:

+ Tolerance level/distance in commuting to a New Year’s Eve party (and finding a ride back)
+ Interest in shelling out piles of cash for the inflated cost of cover charge, dinner and cocktails
+ Excitement of socializing with 1,000s of your closest friends and talking about it the next day
+ Ability to stay up to/beyond midnight (which is beyond your 10pm shot clock)
+ Recovery period for digesting vast amounts of food and alcohol
+ Enjoyment of watching the ball drop in Times Square live (vs. from your couch on TV)

  5. This isn’t exactly a true representation. I REALLY like watching the ball drop in Times Square and I prefer to do it from my couch at home. I REALLY like my couch. It makes me REALLY happy to be at home instead of out partying. REALLY!! Have a REALLY happy New Year. 😉

  6. Laughing….this is also true in our household. Will likely be in bed by 10p tonight and will spend tomorrow morning watching replays of the new year breaking around the world whilst sipping mimosas, using the champagne I didn’t stay wake to pop at midnight….;-)

  9. Living in the PST time zone has it’s advantages for us … Around 9:00 PM PST we will gather round the television with friends, our bellies full of the wonderful meal and glass or two of whatever the wine of choice is. Tuned to the New York channel, we will watch the Times Square ball drop, then open the doors and bang the pots to let out the old and herald in the new 2014. Finally, we will retreat to our homes and be in bed by 10:30 PM. Happy New Year to all!
