  1. I couldn’t watch the whole thing…it’s been almost 14 years since we put our Tucker to sleep…I remember it like it was yesterday…tears me up when I go back to that time of great loss…So much love, such wonderful happy memories…

  2. Yes, too hard. Dog people don’t understand that cats bring the same joy in smaller packages. This grief is the price for their companionship.

  3. Boy this hit hard with me. Our Frankie is soon to be 13 and his grey muzzle and opaque eyes woke me early this morning for a quick trip outside. I know the day is coming, we’ve seen a dimming, and it’s still heart-breaking. I think that’s what good dogs do. They teach us how to love, how to play, how to relax, how to have joy in simple things — the sound of the grill being rolled out onto the patio, the creak of the cupboard *(where the treats are), and the delight of that door opening once again.

    Beautiful, thanks for posting!

  4. OMG, I love dogs so much…don’t make me think of the day when I’ll have to say good-bye to my Bella. She still has many years to go, I hope…but that video says so much about dogs and their incredible, unconditional love, and what they give to us crazy humans. There is nothing like it in the whole world.

  5. House sat and on two occasions where i had to take the owners dogs to vet to put down. Worst feeling ever especially when the dont go on the first shot!
