March 17

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day. Thank you to the Irish who have given us William Butler Yeats, James Joyce, C.S. Lewis, Frank McCourt, Bono along with millions of good and kind people.  And, of course, Riverdance.  Here’s a 2-minute clip of one of my favorite performances. (Can’t seem to get enough of this…)

  1. I can now admit that when I saw ‘Riverdance’ I couldn’t stop my feet from trying to do even one step that these incredibly talented dancers were doing. I succeeded in making my pups start barking at me. Such incredible artistry – and control!!

  2. I’ve seen them live a few times and the dancing and music never gets old. Happy St Patrick’s Day!

  3. Love, love, LOVE this. Have seen these magnificent dancers perform twice, and each time they leave me in tears. Of joy! The music, the movements, their dedication and graceful strength, ooooh… 😀
    Happy Saint Patrick’s day, David.

    1. 🙂 Thanks Marion. I’ve never seen them live. It must be a moving experience. I get goose bumps watching youtube. But live, that is something else…

  4. Got to see Riverdance a few years ago during a traveling tour. Marvelous music and incredible dancing. Thanks for bringing back some great memories. Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
