I really had a thing for puffins until I saw this one with all those dead fish in its mouth. I know, what was I thinking, they are cereal? Happy Monday David – stay safe today.

Beautiful bird. A bit stingy, but beautiful.

Yes, as to stingy, I’d like to think she is going to feed her babies. 🙂

Ok, not that appetizing in my eyes, but hey, to each his own, right? ;-). Please stay safe David, it’s looking awfully scary down your way….

I love puffins because they are so unique-looking. The west coast ones have a tuft of “blond” hair (feathers) on each side of their head, which makes them kind of cute. Amazing how they can keep their catch in order like that

Yes, she has them nice and tidy…must take some real skill to pull that off. I can’t even hold pretzels in my hand with that level of dexterity…and they aren’t slimy…

I know breakfast is to be the most important meal but come on now! Looks a little selfish…pun or no pun.

Reminds me of the time we went fishing with our cousins and one of the small creek fish was not cleaned. We cooked the fish. And Tony bit into it guts and all. Oh, what a memory that was…

So much easier said than done! I get up way too early for my throat to swallow food down and then I’m off rushing to catch the bus… Started having “breakfast” recently – which means having little bites on my way from the bus stop to my work place – a five minute walk!
