Michael Grimm, a Mississippi Southern Soul singer/songwriter, was the winner of America’s Got Talent in 2010. Grimm sings a blues and soul classic, “I’d Rather Go Blind,” which was a song first recorded by Etta James in 1968. LOVE his rendition…

“Baby, I’d rather go blind/Than to see you walk away from me”…man does he pull at your soul and make you nod and say ‘yes, yes, yes’…he gets you in your core (better than Endomondo – sorry, I have to stop writing about it)…

Yes, he does. And you are getting a Pro version of Endomondo for your birthday. And no need to thank me for it.

Wow. Melting… Funnily enough, I was going to say I’d rather hear a sax solo in the 3rd minute, but refrained, keeping my own humble opinion to myself.
Then I was thinking it reminds me of something from the late 80s – something about walking away – 3/4 time – which probably doesn’t help -“… if I could just hold you again…” At This Moment – Billy Vera. Thank you Youtube. And guess what? A sax solo in the middle!
But overall this is better, I think.

It’s like you and I listen to different songs but love the same music. I’m shamed that I didn’t even hear a sax… 🙂
