What a beautiful picture of the park…the lungs of the city in all their splendor!
It really is. Love that word lungs to describe it.
oh!
Exactly!
My hometown!
The Park was actually my playground when I was 3 and 4! lots of roller skating…and I thought all of the animals were my friends. So amazed at how beautiful that Park still is.
That’s so cool. What memories.
That’s right. And now you are so far from all of this.
Happily my sister is still there, so I get my fix…
Wonderful.
Wow an amazing picture from the top.
Sure is.
A perfect balance of color and nature in between concrete! 🍀🍁🍂🍁
Laughing. Really is.

The view from David Kanigan’s office… 😀
I wish! Thanks for sharing Todd.
Nature in all her glory. It’s easy to forget how much green/nature there is from ground level.
Yes Carolann. So true.
Beautiful! Can’t wait to visit again!
Yes. It seems especially beautiful this time of year and from this vantage point.
Also Experiencing one of those beautiful days! Is that open area with structures near the pond the Zoo? I was fortunate enough to grow up across from a grand and expansive park,
that was designed by the Fredrick Law Olmsted firm, the firm that designed NYC’s Central Park… we lived off the pond (I even feel through the ice in the pond, once) we feed the ducks who sometimes would nest in our yard, we rolled down the grassy slopes (under Grandmother’s supervision) played on the brick staircase, climbed trees, rode bikes, hid in bushes playing telephone, played in the play park, had craft time in the amazing children’s center, bought candy, pop, ice cream & snow-cones from the candy truck parked at the play park and it was under one of the trees near the never ending brick staircase that I had my First Kiss!!! Strolled through the park with a few boyfriends…
Good question Christie. I dont know.
love
I had no idea it looked like that, surrounded by buildings and looking like a rectangle. Beautiful fall colours.
It is something….
