David Gray drove me into the office this morning with “January Rain“…One of the sound tracks from the movie Serendipity. Gray and this tune are both long time favorites. And yes, it was raining on a misty, dreary January morning…yet, I find it impossible not to be inspired by this music.
Very relaxing music. Not sure if you should be driving when this is playing. I’d be wanting to close my eyes as I listen, and start daydreaming.
Funny you say that…it leaves exactly that feeling. Or sitting on beach and looking out over the ocean.

This is an appropriate song for large parts of Alberta right now. We have taken a temporary break from winter with +5 C weather and rain the last day and into the next two or three days.
