Do you have an absolutely perfect pasta dish?
Oh, God. There are so many, but lasagna bolognese is probably one of the greatest things in the world.

Would you ever open your own restaurant?
I want to, and then my wife looks at me like I’m an idiot. But I really would. It would be very small, tiny and seasonal, practically no menu. Wine on tap. Brown paper on the tables, like an osteria. Like 10 tables. That’s it.

  1. Lasagna Bolognese is great, especially with Béchamel saue, not Ricotta.
But my favorite pastas are the ones we twirl.

        1. Not in Lasagna. Get with Program. **** Traditional lasagna recipes typically use **flat, wide pasta sheets**, often called **lasagna noodles** or **lasagna sheets**. These can be either boiled before assembling the lasagna or used in their no-boil form, which cook during the baking process.***

  2. I love Stanley, but I’ve never had a sub-par lasagne. (Pretty sure it’s impossible, unless someone uses that jar of sugar sauce no one talks about, Prego.😬) I agree with him, though, about sweatpants!

      1. I was just looking at my posts (since I’m working on my Walktober) and I fell on the post that I did an à la DK “Walking, With Stanley”. I talked about how much I loved his Book “Taste” that I listened to and then ended up buying the hardcover. I have zero doubts I will love it.
