DK’s first photo of a Bald Eagle. 10:50 am. April 30 2024. Stamford, CT. With tremendous gratitude to Susan and Wally, who spotted the magnificent creature and asked it to hold position until I could drive to meet them. More pictures of the eagle here.
I was gonna say… “What? A third post from DK today? However… definitely a good reason, I say. Wowzers, David. Still on mine to just see one, never mind capture it!
Bravo.

Well, be you, Sawsan and Paul blitzing me on my absences (yet nowhere near Sawsan’s 2-year disappearance) I’m doubling down!

Was filled with joy to see you captured this moment today. No greater feeling than seeing someone get the opportunity to check a significant item off their bucket list. Kudos to the Kanigan Team (and I imagine a very patient Boss Wally) for making it happen. Awe inspiring images that you caught. Thank you for sharing with all of us.

So great that Susan has a sharp eye & that you were able to share these moments of Witness, together! Such beautiful birds and photos…About five weeks ago, my husband and daughter were sitting at a long red light…they spent that time watching a pair of Bald Eagles, effortlessly, flying, floating & circling….they were thankful for the gift of interlude…
