T.G.I.F.

We went down into the silent garden. Dawn is the time when nothing breathes, the hour of silence. Everything is transfixed, only the light moves.

Leonora Carrington, from “The Hearing Trumpet.” (Jonathan Cape, 1974)

  1. My favorite time of day and if for some reason I miss it (and I’m sure it’s happened, though I’m not sure when), I feel a bit out of sorts as a result.

  2. What a sweet and beautiful scene! And, this really is YOUR silent garden…thanks for taking us there.
