Oh this is so, so funny. I’ve seen cows doing that. One’s heart is leaping with joy! And the kids’ laughter. Thank you for sharing.
The dog, btw, is either super up to the hob or super dumb. I reckon it’s the 2nd…. Again, makes me think of my dog, running about in sheer delight like a tail-steered minichopper….

I still go in her room at night to make sure she’s covered well under her big comforter. And I drape her baby blanky on her shoulders. I wipe the satin edges on her cheeks, she smiles and wiggles in her sleep.
She calls it Nani. Because in my dialect, when she was a toddler and would go around looking for it, I’d say Hayani, meaning “here it is”. Hayani became Nani. Still Nani.
