Definitely stirs the soul and heightens anticipation for what’s next (awwww….goslings!). Don’t kid yourself though – there are many many many photos that have stirred this soul

I highly respect your words and opinion, David. I do love the picture as I’m an avid birder myself (today, a cardinal’s eggs have hatched in our front yard), but you have displayed some very moving and sour-stirring photos throughout these 300+ days… Thank you.

A mother’s love…incomparable and endless. Feeling gratitude for being able to mother three children in this life–an opportunity to open the heart, and bring all gifts to the fore. Love this Mother Goose!

The first thing I felt looking at this capture was ‘fragile.’ It’s very strange she has built her nest so openly and in such a vulnerable space? It’s almost like I can sense her saying, ‘Yes I know it’s not safe!!! But I’m here now …and just trying to deal with it!!’ 😬
