Beautiful photos also via the link! So peaceful.. Does it seem personal to you as well when the skies are a palette of blue and salmon?

Thank you Mimi. I watched this couple get up. Oversized winter coats, heavy for 47F. I watched grief and loss walk away.

They often walk hand in hand…

Laughing – my comment didn’t resonate, huh? Just noting that sometimes these emotions operate separately…

No. The opposite actually Mimi. You hit it squarely on point. Mimi, I didn’t share the entire story. For another day…

Ahhhh! Yes, It’s so perfect that if I were a smoker I’d want to light a cigarette here. (Hahaha. Did I ruin it for you? – I hope not. But that’s what I thought of – if it were in a movie, that’s what they’d be doing.) Just for the record, I don’t smoke and I absolutely abhor smoke-filled air.

No. No ruining the moment at all. I stood there taking the shot and I knew then it was A Moment! Thank you!

Now that I have heavily enlarged the photo I think I see a couple huddled together and I feel a great shared sadness – it’s a perfectly beautiful moment but I also feel that this absolute beauty can overwhelm a fraught or suffering person. I would feel that way.

And that’s exactly how I saw and felt it. As you described it.
