  1. I’d HAVE to win the moola ’cause I would be out of business without the internet. 🙁 it IS an intriguing idea though, and incredibly appealing at some level….

      1. Yup – I can be a bit hermetic. I don’t view technology as something that I have to be cleaved to. AS long as I have my family nearby (and I do), books, paper and pen so I could write my friends (or just go visit them – I mean, why not – road trip!!) – I’m good. I have a real love/hate relationship with technology and our over-dependence upon them. So yeah, I could let it go.

  2. I’m with you Mimi. I only use these things to communicate with my family. And we are all under one roof! Lol

  3. Well, it would need to be a sure thing as I could not do my job without those work essentials, (minus FB, which brings no value to anyone’s life and has done nothing but give permission to people to be lazy in their relationships. Thanks for letting me share). Think f how many books you could read.

    1. 1) Not sure even if it were a sure thing I would bite. Like a meth addict, I would come unglued. 2) Agree on FB. 3) Enjoy! 4) I agree Ray, my reading has plummetted.

  4. why, yes. i would have my hypothetical team of personal assistants standing by and they would be paid after i collect. they would help me find places, update me on the family, friends and the world, contact anyone i needed to, bring me paper and pencil to write, and make copies and distribute my writings, research things i’m curious about, go to the post office and send out my letters and replies, and bring books to read, remind me of birthdays and put music on my record player, and keep track of how far i’ve walked and my heart rate, make my dinner reservations, make sure i am not late for all of my appointments, and tell me what date and time it is, and…..

      1. what is wrong with not following all of the rules all of the time? don’t look at it as cheating, look at it as creative problem solving perhaps. )

  5. ROFL ksbeth 🙂 I very well can if I have my loved ones around. Spend all day reading, eating, meditating and of course sleeping! Gadgets eat a big share of my sleep.. 🙁 I would personally meet people whom I don’t while I am with my virtual ones.

  6. I simply can’t even if it was 10 million because I tried doing this once and I failed miserably. So, a BIG NO from my side.

  7. I’d be “retired” by my clients within a few days, but then again it’s pretty pile of green to invest wisely…or start something new. Maybe.

  8. Oh yes, I think I could! I’m sure I’d have some serious withdrawal symptoms an feel a bit depressed – but 3 million, that will do nicely thank you! In fact I’d do it for less!!! 😀

  9. With nary a flinch or twitch. Sounds like heaven, especially if I’m at the farm. Naturally, you would mail your blog to me, right?
