Hi!
Caleb here…
bringing you your Hump Day smile.
WRONG!

DO YOU SEE A SMILE?
That’s right.
No smiles.
No Happy.

Should I bring Dorothy Parker back?
Good answer. Here’s Dorothy:

WHAT FRESH HELL IS THIS?

10″ of snow. -16º F with wind gusts up to 24 mph from NNW.

BRING ME MY SAHARA!

  1. Did you read that St. Paul is the US city with the fittest people? Cold weather? Pfftt- they are not dissuaded. Yet another reason why I don’t live in St. Paul I guess…Ah Caleb, we all feel your pain (at least you can avoid dust storms?)

  2. Caleb should come up here to Western Canada…pretty balmy for January and we haven’t had a snow fall since December??!! The weather experts say that Spring is right around the corner….

    1. Western Canada cuts a very wide swath. No, pal, you are not on the wrong side of the Rockies, protecting yourself from the Chinooks. You are protected. You are almost in Hawaii as far as we’re concerned here. I don’t want to hear about your suffering.

      1. Plus 5 today and clear blue sky and sunshine…..all day…………lol.
Honestly though, it doesn’t seem right…middle of January and only an inch of snow on the ground….it’s going to be a dry summer?!?

        1. As one of Russian descent, your complaining reminds me of a NY Times article this week. Here’s the quote:

By way of explanation, a quote from Dostoyevsky arrived in my inbox:

“The most basic, most rudimentary spiritual need of the Russian people is the need for suffering, ever-present and unquenchable, everywhere and in everything.”

~ Alina Simone, How Are You?

  3. Sheesh! While so much of the county is suffering with too much snow and rain, California is headed into a severe drought. We could use some of that horrible weather you guys are having. On the other hand, I guess you could send your best bud, Caleb, over here. He’d be a lot more comfortable. 🙂
