Knot by knot I untie myself from the past
And let it rise away from me like a balloon.
What a small thing it becomes.
What a bright tweak at the vanishing point, blue on blue.
~ Charles Wright, closing lines to “Arkansas Traveller,” from The Other Side of the River

More to come on the past at WOL
Thanks for sharing Robert.
once again i will find myself light enough to float through the universe.
Yes. Me too…
Knot by knot I have to untie myself from the past & then one day there will come a day when my past will rise away from me like a balloon. Beautiful! Isn’t it? (:
So very much so…
You can feel the pressure lifting from your chest with every word…..
And we wake up to torrential rain and a three hour drive ahead of us…maybe I’ll feel the pressure lift later today…
Oh crud, honey, I’m so sorry…:-(
You can drive. Be happy. You can see. Be happy. You can feel. Be happy. You are loved. Be happy.
I’m happy. I’m happy
Good, then so am I.
Yes…
Oh, if it were only that easy, letting go of the past….
Yes!
Still struggling with a few knots but as each one loosens and opens up, I feel the pressure lift … love the visual.
Yes, I’m with you Laurie, knots and all.
Letting go is such a wonderful feeling!
It is Tina. Now to do it on demand.
Awesome image and great text… Just to let it happen… 🙂

When I burst this balloon ..I will be free..like the blue that surrounds the sea.
