Not to put too fine a point on this – but those with the least amount of control, income and decision-making ability are arguably in a far more difficult place than most. I too have seen this before and it affects me every time.
I recently read that Walmart, the largest private employer in America, has the largest number of employees on public assistance. I wonder how many of those employees have high blood pressure and other health issues. Certainly makes you go hhhhmmmmmmm.
