A first for Lead.Learn.Live. Rap Music. This song is called “Gangnam Style” from South Korean Rapper Psy. This video has been watch over 400,000,000 times on YouTube – the 9th most watched video clip ever. If this doesn’t get you up and at it on a Monday morning…nothing will. Volume up!
I love the idea that you are dancing along with Psy this morning..you are, right? 😉

1) Of course, YOU would know who Psy is. I had no idea. 2) Head-bobbing and foot tapping (banging) is as close to dancing as you’ll see here. 🙂

I have a weird appreciation for any kind of dance that remotely looks like someone is pretending to be a cowboy..

Agree, David–It’s like a big sugary confection–you just can’t get enough!! The funny thing? I heard a story on NPR about Psy the other day–he attended the Berklee School of Music in Boston, though I don’t know if he graduated or not. Oopppp, ooooop! Happy Monday! 🙂

You know Psy too?!! Wow. I need to get out more. And, Psy doesn’t strike me as the type (having gone to Music school). But man is certainly talented. Op Op Op to you too Lori…

Can’t believe you just heard this. He is all over the place. Everyone on TV is doing this dance from the Today Show, Ellen, Late Night Talk Shows, commercials, its everywhere. Yesterday on the NFL, the announcers like Terry Bradshaw and his co-anchors did the dance during the pre-game show. My grandchildren had me up doing the dance. We had so much fun. Just think I can’t dance but I can do this. (smile) Now you get up and try it. Good exercise.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!

LoL…heard it first time the other day taking boys to soccer as they wouldn’t let me change the channel cause they loved it. Thought my boys lost their minds as I didn’t understand the words. The beat gets you and the video now has helped.

Yes, I can see why the boys loved it!

I think you are right David, because after I watched this on my lunch hour and went back to the office to show it to the staff (all between ages 24-32) and they just looked at me and said “yeah we saw this a month ago” They were not nearly as excited as I was 🙂

There are currently a lot of renditions of this style going about, I have seen one by the Eton school students, and one by British marines in Afghanistan. It seems contagious.

Yes, I think I might have been one of the few on the planet that had never seen it.
