My Rachel shared this video which is based on the aggregation of billions of search queries people typed into Google in 2011. Zeitgeist is defined as “the spirit of the times” or “the spirit of the age.” The general cultural, intellectual, ethical, spiritual or political climate along with the general ambiance, morals, sociocultural direction, and mood associated with an era. This short snappy clip does capture the spirit of 2011. Great background music by Mat Kearney (Sooner or Later).
