  1. Wow! The linked article mentions the 2-day event also has camel polo and other team sports — now I’m wondering where and how one practices up for a camel polo competition. Amazing events, all!

  3. When he bought his camel, the seller told Mahmoud its name was “Lightning”, but it became clear, after the first race, that was an aspirational name, not one indicative of the camel’s speed. Too bad Mahmoud bet his tent!
