Love!
Awww, sweet girl. It’s as if she’s nailed herself to the dock. Ain’t nobody messin’ with THIS nest….
Smiling. So true.
Does it get busy there during the day?
Marina is fenced in with lock on access day. Not much traffic at the end of the dock where she’s at. Overhead however, gulls sit and watch and wait for a slip up.
Let’s hope the gander is nearby to help when the babies hatch. Good about the lock.
He is hovering near by. A good soldier.
Fingers crossed that it works out for them.
Ah-h she knows her purpose…both powerful and endearing. The day I saw your first Mother Goose photo, I went to an annual Daffodil Picking party (not held last year!), and off to the side was a small pond cordoned off to protect two more nests like this! So precious!
Awwww. Love that Valerie.

Your nest location is preferred! By a large margin. Beautiful shot Anneli.
