  1. Funny how some people thought of butterscotch – and that does make sense with the smoothness of the sky – but my first thought was of sand. Going only by the colour – not the texture.

  2. Noticed you had two separate shooting locations and times this morning…assume that on your One Year Sunrise walk with sunrise photos, you’ll be at the Cove?

    1. Actually, Christie, there were 4 separate locations this morning. 1 at Cove Island and 3 in Norwalk. And yes. I will be at Cove Island on May 5…

  3. Your 1st shoot, Wow! Burnt Caramel and Silver Light…made me think of a former share of yours from April 8th 2018 Tahyana Tolestaaya (who is the granddaughter of Aleksey Tolstoy)
I wonder what she would have thought if this was one of the first things she saw when her sight was returning slowly, gently, into dim light…
~ Tatyana Tolstaya, excerpts from “20/20” in “Aetherial Worlds: Stories”
She had eye surgery…for 3 months total darkness…
“My external eyes were still awaiting the sunrise, while my internal ones were looking around, seeking out details….soon as I was able to emerge from my room into the dim light of the table lamp…”
“One day, all of a sudden, my sliced-up eyes could see again; my vision returned completely and immediately, 20/20, as promised. And this was bliss!”
