I think he achieved that. 🏟

And he painted *as* the birds sang at Giverny. So many glorious images….

I garden like a madwoman sometimes. And in that garden are many singing birds. They come regularly to the bath I keep clean and full for them, bringing their babies to feast on rice or quinoa or papaya skins I toss out to them daily. Life would indeed be less grand without the songs of birds! I treasure these tiny ones.

Lovely. And laughed at “I garden like a madwoman.” I do many things like a madman – I can relate. Your comment reminded me of a Rumi piece from Beth’s Blog on Alive on All Channels:
Beauty surrounds us,
but usually we need to be walking
in a garden to know it.

Ahhhhh! Love Rumi! Doubtless this poem exists somewhere in my library – I have many of his books. Thanks for the link, as well – I’ll check out Beth’s one day soon. Enjoy your weekend, David! 🙂

I wonder what that meant to Monet–to create naturally as an extension of himself? unconsciously? out of joy?

Beside, that I really love Monet’s paintings, I also love sparrows. Can you imagine, that in many cities in Germany these wonderful little birds are dissapearing? This really makes me sad.

Couldn’t imagine that outcome. No.
