While I agree some of these questions were boorish, others seemed innocent enough. I am guilty of asking someone who introduces themselves as a writer what they’ve written. Oops.
Good articles – esp the one in Turf magazine. Learned that one the hard way, too – with all those weddings I played at for free because they were friends or family of friends or from the same church… huge cost to me in terms of time and souring relationships due to the lack of even a verbal thank-you.
Everything should be a trade, each side brings something to the table, and leave the winner.
