Watch it…

If you liked “Bruge” and “Calvary“, you will love this.  If you are a fan of Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, watch this. Set on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland, with spectacular cinematography. (Thank you Susan)

  1. I think Wally should do movie reviews! 😎 He could do ratings of 0 to 4 “paws up“! To give a 4, Wally would have to be jumping for joy! (All four paws off the ground lol. Photos of this would be a great bonus (good luck with that!).)

(Three paws would also indicate that Wally has a potential future in gymnastics or show business!)

(Clearly I have developed a Wally obsession! If he has a twin brother I get first dibs! I need a little excitement in my life. (No “Wally walks” today though in northern Vermont. Current windchill is -30°F. It was -40°F about six hours ago.).)

  2. Will definitely see the Banshees… My father’s parents came from the west coast of Ireland (Kenmare) and later met in Connecticut and fell in love, married, and had many children. That area of Ireland has palm trees but is cool in August! Thanks for the prod…

  3. Where the heck has my comment gone on this? I read and viewed everything about this film and apart from the fact that even as a seasoned English speaker and reader, I found it partially difficult to understand everything, it’s a total MUST….. But then I love everything Irish anyway. While I lived in England for a few years, I visited Ireland maybe 3 to 4 times and I was always enchanted with the rugged kindness of land and people. A film of a rare kind of ‘friendship’ filmed in breathtaking landscapes and ‘done’ with utter truthiness of characters and places.
