So easy to say, sitting by your pool in your hammock. What an armchair quarterback. Cut the yack, fly up and come walk around in this mess with me. Let’s go.
Wow… lookit you guys… you should come up north if you need a break from the snow! We ain’t got nuthin’!! What we do got is cold. Very cold lately.
Beautiful shots
The solitary tiny bird, in the solitary tree, next to the solitary cottage restroom…in the chillingly stark landscape where a spot of steam or is it water, make a peek a boo appearance…///The first photo, is interesting to me…Winter’s grip…the parent trees protecting their little surgically cut nub, the family unit endures the harsh cold along the edge of water where they contribute to landscape of beauty…///ps is that a short wall with breaking water? Fun you & your famiy have some pretty white stuff, for a few days 🙂

Winter storm … Daybreak. December 17, 2020. 6:45 to 7:20 am. 24° F. Feels like 9° F. Cove Island Park, Stamford CT.
WOW! Seems that the weather changed. But these photographs are great and so artistic too. Dear Dave, I don’t like Winter but I love your photography. You are amazing. Thank you, Love, nia
Thank you so much Nia. It was lunch beautiful sunrises 1 day to blizzard the next. I’ve come not to like Winter but there are some beautiful landscape shots out there if you have courage to get out! 🙂
I grew up in a land where winter temps were regularly -32 & more. but I was never as cold as being along the Atlantic in winter ~~ That water looks menacing and your shots capture the brr my bones felt! cozy up! MJ
THAT’S what I’m talking about!!! Cue the hot cocoa and roaring fire! 🙂

How much did you get, finally? My friend in PA – where they called for over a foot – ended up with maybe 8 inches of snow and sleet and whatnot…

It was cold, even with triple layers. Thank you Carolann. Must be nice to see blizzard shots as you sit in 70 F climate. Jealous!

-32 is not for the faint of heart. But agree with you MJ. Cold from great bodies of water is unlike any dry cold anywhere else.
