LOL LOL 😉 I think the Heron (Uggghhh, I called it a crane!) knew the wait would be worth it; and it was!
Many years ago I was at a zoo/park in Winnipeg. The peacocks were allowed to freely strut their stuff without any barriers to get in the way.
A rather full of itself specimen walked past me, feathers in full regalia mode.
As it strutted by I said, “Hey, can I get your picture, please?” Without a word of a lie, that little bum stopped, stared at me for but a moment, I snapped one photo, and off it went down the sidewalk! I think the laughter that ensued by people that saw this was better than the photo itself! 😉
How amazing what you get to see each morning! That first photo! I was trying to print it full size but can’t expand it…Thanks for giving us the vicarious experience of such beauty.
I second Val’s suggestion, pal! A calendar or a boxed set of blank cards would be lovely. We’ve done several photo gifts over the past few years, e.g., cards, calendars, photos enlarged and printed to canvas, etc., and they have been very well received. Your images are beautiful–a shame not to share them. 🙂 L
Such gorgeous photos. Thanks!

Thank you Cher. It stood posing for the longest time. It needed to for me to get my sh$t together to get the shot! I believe it’s a Heron.
