    1. Laughing…wild is better than horror.

“Night is the space in which poetic intuition, not logic, prevails, in which you feel what you cannot see.”

  1. I’m with you David. I wake up at 2 and usually don’t get back to sleep for an hour or more. It’s only when I do some breathing meditations that I can drift off again. I’m also with Lori with weird dreams. I think it’s the subconscious trying to make sense of the madness and insecurity. There’s a recurring one where I am a friend and advisor of DJT. Ever hopeful he will take my advice!

  2. Thoughts –for me, tend to be in wordscapes, wordshapes, even sentences….analytics. Images — pierces the screen rice paper mind, can ….if I give them permission, dominate language and logic….if this gate is left open….I might fall more easily into sleep. As for the THOUGHTS…. “pound pound pound” I feel the ball pen peen hammer, I do.

  3. “Sometimes I lie awake at night, and ask, ‘Where have I gone wrong?’ Then a voice says to me, ‘This is going to take more than one night.’ ” ~ Charles M. Schulz

… and sometimes I wish there was an on/off switch for my brain!

  4. How I can rely to that…. – although WHEN I sleep, I sleep much better now than in France. It’s so very peaceful and I thought it was quiet there, it’s so much more quiet here, all we hear are birds going to bed and the rain gurgling down the pipe outside our bedroom (well chosen by us, wasn’t it?!)

  5. A mind clouded with too many thoughts makes for sleepless nights. Let go and let God handle them. He’s up all the time anyway.
