  2. You MUST have read somewhere my story of The Butterfly Who Travelled With Us – haven’t you?!

    That is uncanny…. and I’m really glad I went over to see what the Monarch looks like, because upon viewing the photo, I realised that I lied (unwittingly) to the blogger I told my story. I said it was a Swallowtail, when it was ‘only’ a Monarch…. That’s my non-knowledge of butterfly names.

  7. Yes, butterflies…what exquisite creatures! I even planted a paw paw twig that was meant to become a tree just so I could attract swallowtail butterflies. Alas, found out that this land has no depth for roots to grow, and no paw paw could grow. [this yard was once part of a dog kennel where a thick underground canvas prevents mud and deep roots]
