“If the sun is shining, stand in it
– yes, yes, yes.”
~ Jeanette Winterson, Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal?
Notes:
- Quote: Thank you Whiskey River. Photo by Susan Kanigan (South Beach, Miami, 2017)
- Post Title & Inspiration: Aldous Huxley: “It’s dark because you are trying too hard. Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly. Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply. Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them.”
The shining sun is what´s keeping me going these days. I stand, and more often sit, in it often. Sending hugs. xo

That has become my mantra of late. When the sun hits my shoulders, I can feel the tension melt. Nature is my savior.

As I read this beautiful quote, outside my window, the sun is kissing the morning sky with pink and rosy hues.

What a lovely shot! My husband is from the ’50s school where one does not shoot into the sun, but rather puts the sun directly in the subject’s poor eyes, lol. I love these younger photographers who dare to catch what they see. (And I found out last night that you hadn’t up and disappeared sometime since Sunday, but that I’d somehow unFollowed you. No idea how that happened.) Whew! Glad to see you and all your commenters. Stay well!

Oh, this reminded me of all the pictures with Mom’s long shadow falling over us as she held that old Brownie. A psychiatrist’s wet dream!
