  3. That is all very surreal. Good to see in these times, but very surreal.

In Calgary, our mayor’s office coined the phrase: (at least I think that’s who created it)

Clean hands, clear heads, open hearts.

  5. Remembering the last scene in “On the Beach”! New York with empty streets, stop lights still changing, newspaper blowing across the silent street. Everyone gone. Fiction. But whew…this is…weird.

  6. So strange and unnerving, but good to see people taking it seriously. The only way we’re going to get ahead of this damn thing…

  10. This is both eerie and wonderful. I’ve been doing the same thing, just driving around to see how different things are.

    – “I’ve seen the lights go out on Broadway…” Did Billy Joel foresee this 40 years ago?

  13. Chicago too! You only see birds, police cars, and Ubers now on Michigan ave.
So glad work finally fully transitioned to work from home.

Thank you for the photos David, At least a visual visit if not for real. Maybe one day. Enjoy reading your blogs and was good to see your face on screen yesterday if not your voice. Stay healthy and safe.

  17. Great pics! And a beautiful metaphor of what this time is asking of us. Be still, and empty ourselves of all the fear and heaviness within. 🙏🏻

I will ask, Why is Eric in NYC? Is he helping Miss Rachael gather things from her apartment so she will be with her family in CT? Looks like the BMW suv that the tree hit one day on your way home, one day? How are you feeling with no sleep and having been on the train part of last week?

    • He was dropping his Sister off and then coming home. You are right on the make/model of car – great memory. My car had to be sold for parts and he was driving his Mom’s car. I have been 100% work from home for a week now with no end in sight. I kind of like it!
