    1. come on Sawsan…. let us ‘doggie lovers’ have our fix PLEASE. There simply cannot be too many dog references! Cats don’t need us humans, we however DO need dogs…. (Love!!!)

        1. There’s puppy love, and there’s “your puppy love”.

But I guess it’s all the same for you. Keep looking at photos of others loving their puppies I guess!

          1. A velvet scud to the chest. Now I’m sure sure I can ever post a picture of a dog unless it’s my own. You’ve totally polluted the environment of loving all living things even if you don’t own them.

          2. oh dear, this is going slightly out of control…. Let’s please not fight over puppies. They get easily scared and we don’t want those velvet furs ruffled too much! Please!

          1. It’s called NEUTRALITY – I call it kindness – never hurt a person if you can avoid doing so – (I DO accept a little pat on the shoulder from you!)

          2. “The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality.”

            Dante Alighieri

This is a serious human crisis, Kiki.

Disclaimer: I don’t believe in heaven or hell. So, please don’t be offended @ Kiki. Love you

Re your Dante Alighieri PLUS reference: MAN, I wouldn’t want to be on the wrong side of you, dear friend! A human crisis over pets, that’s a new one!!!!
I very much believe in a heaven but I don’t think we need to bother Hell over this, or do we?!
Love a bit of a banter as much as my neighbours to the left and/or right. And now that you have assured me that you love dogs, I’m fine – PACEM.

  1. My two are snoring and snuffling right here beside me. There is no greater joy, as you well know. So many dogs in shelters looking for someone to love. I see it every week when I volunteer. Stop denying yourself (and them), pal. Pull the trigger!

  2. Aw ☺️ The dog’s face is exactly how our own face should look, whenever a dog rescues us in the one way we can always trust: unconditional love. There should be kind, easy dogs all through prisons and nursing homes and in every school’s guidance office.

  3. As I scroll down to leave my comment on the beauty of the picture and the amount of love shining through, I cannot help but snicker and snort over Sawsan, Kiki, You…

    I think I’ll just back away quietly…

  4. Okay. Not fair! Beaumont is lying on the floor beside my desk with his eyes looking pleadingly at me, begging me to please take him to the park for a romp — in minus Polar Vortex temps and you post this????

Way to make me pick up the leash and put on my Arctic gear when I’d rather be sitting by the fire!

Oh — and Swanson — if you want some puppy love, go visit Beaumont’s blog on Sundays. He’s got attitude! 🙂 Sundays with Beaumont

    1. Louise, we will just have to drown our friend Sawsan in our puppy love – she’s a tough one to convert but in her heart she’s one of us!!!!
And re your ‘getting all dressed and warmed up’ for a few minutes of outdoor – I made that very same remark to my sis on the phone, when I saw a small kid, all trussed up in warm clothes, playing on the playground’s toys – I said to her: You should see that mum with her kid: I bet she took 15′ to kit her child out for the outing, the girl will be playing for 15′, then she’s so cold that she needs to pee and the poor mum will do the whole thing in reverse order!
To which my sis says: And the kid probably will have peed already in her outfit because it took too long to get her undressed….. Aren’t you glad it’s ‘just’ a dog you have to take out?!

      1. haha! Yup. So true — I was thinking the same thing as Beau and I got back from the park this morning. usually I walk over — right now I’m driving as he’s only getting 15 – 20 min outside I’d rather save the 5 min drive time! He does wear a coat and booties which is rather comical! And frustrating to get on — the booties last about 2 min and then, they’re off! 🙂

  5. Our sweet pup is on a walk with the dear hubby…I often join them…on the outings along the creek…the pup has spent the past few night on a rug next to the bed…he usually sleeps on the couch or in dear daughter’s room…///You used to borrow your neighbor’s door taking him on runs or just out and about -maybe you can take him on a car ride to Palmer’s so you can get your daily fix of Talenti Mint Ice Cream…
