Think of the actual physical elements that compose our bodies: we are 98 percent hydrogen and oxygen and carbon. That’s table sugar. You are made of the same stuff as table sugar.
Just a couple of tiny differences here and there and look what happened to the sugar: it can stand upright and send tweets.

Laughing…I was *just* thinking about you yesterday, DK, as I watched a documentary called ‘Fed Up,’ which talks about sugar addiction. 😉 Not such a sweet thing….(but I love Burroughs’ writing, so will have to check that out).

Sweet validation! I have the same vice. Sometimes Godiva dark chocolate tempers it.

Sweet Validation! That’s right! Hmmm, Godiva doesn’t cure it for me. Gelato, smooth, cool and two helpings.

Gelato, even two servings worth, would leave me craving more sugar. Dark chocolate sticks in my throat (like cardboard) and prevents anything else from getting through. 🤪

I can’t disagree with that logic Sharon. But where’s the fun in that?!?
Is that Blue Grass “Sweet Tooth”? I would have NEVER begged you for a Blue Grass Groupie…Never.

Groupie? Nah … though my husband and i do a cover of this (me on uke). Bluegrass is just a different configuration of H, O and C.

Hmmm. Have you heard of Mandolin Orange? https://youtu.be/k2QjEgOtCAA

Yes, I have! We were traveling in North Wales this summer and played at a couple of open mics. Both times, someone performed a cover of Mandolin Orange. Meant to look them up and now you’ve reminded me.

I’m not a Blue Grass fan, but love these two. Especially love this tune:

This one is a Bob Dylan cover … perhaps more folk-country or Americana according to hubby who is a Dylan aficionado. Lovely version. He has several Mandolin Orange songs on his iPod and everything ever done by Bob. I wasn’t able to open the first one … border control perhaps?

I think Dunkin Donuts puts 5 teaspoons in an extra large coffee 🙂
And the fact that it the comment was in your spam folder is likely a good indication of the quality of the comment!

Well sugar is all fine and good, except the tweeting kind of sugar, that has a rather sour taste to it. But find me some other sugar daddy and I be a happy woman 🙂

I certainly must have a few leftovers of the ‘real’ sugar in my body; I’m NOT a dessert or sweets person and yet – I look at a cake or patisserie and have another 5 pounds on my hips/stomach/everywhere…. 🙂
