Tuesday Morning Wake-Up Call… (after long weekend)

Volume up.

If only we could celebrate and thank all of our teachers with similar enthusiasm. Bravo Boys.

      1. O M G…. the lovely bride seemed terrified!

Not how I’d expected MY wedding entertainment. But an impressive energy display (and all that sweat pouring, that must have been something!). All this seemingly BEFORE the wedding dinner too. Bon appétit 🙂

      1. Love the soft music between the numbers.
Shall most certainly try to avoid mass gatherings of young men if I should ever visit the Maoris. No 2: Groom stony faced, Maori bride touched to tears….
No 1: Were they going to play at one point or another?
        Great traditions, that’s for sure.

  1. Just had to add, after watching the top 5 Hakas, even though Kiki liked the soft music played throughout the video, for me, it ruined the effect of the true haka. But we’re all different, so we have to allow for different perceptions.

    1. Anneli, but that was the point! The soft music sort of lured you into believing that something soothing would follow and then came – with full impacdt – that emotionally loaded, over-loaded Haku Drama!

      1. No, there isn’t but at the Center, they have mini “villages” of each Polynesian country, such as Aotearoa (New Zealand), Tahiti, Fiji, Samoa, etc… Gives you a taste of each.
