It’s not you.
It’s anyone.
Sometimes I don’t want anyone around.
Some afternoons I lie on my bed and the light comes through the shutters on the floor and I think I never want to leave my own room.

I feel like this everywhere in nature. But then I Remember I have a job! 😫🌿

M’gosh … my sentiments exactly … ‘Sometimes I don’t want anyone around. Some afternoons I lie on my bed and the light comes through the shutters on the floor and I think I never want to leave my own room.’

Laughing. But oh, what a wonderful feeling. Can we roll the clock back, please? Just for a day?

I think most of us feel like this once in a while. It’s good to recharge the batteries sometimes.

This is so me….. especially when a child, I spent hours like this! We had wooden shutters with slats you could open or close more or less and the dust would dance in these openings. With 4 children in a 3 room flat these moments were precious and too rare!

I can see you in this picture. And feel the warming sun.

I love to languish by myself…especially out on my garden bed…yesterday I went out and stood by the garden bed and glance up at the Firs on the hill, so breathtaking all covered in snow…Like a Christmas card…

and my garden bed is no more…they’ll rebuild it in the spring when the snow season is laid to rest and the cycle of spring begins…I have a single daffodil in a vase sitting on the kitchen window sill, he picked it for me just yesterday along the creek, where we were walking it had yet to bloom now it stands, bright tall and delights against the backdrop of piles of snow, while one foot of snow covers the rest of the clump and I wonder if they broke from the heaviness or will I discover that they survived? Anticipation…
