Substitute a chocolate lab for a bald eagle and you’ve got our scenery. Beau thinks the snow is ‘da bomb’ (if you’ll pardon the pun), and Lola is, well, over it. 😉
Not that you probably want to know, David…. but; it will be 33C or 91F today in my little part of sunny Australia. However, I add very quickly; it has been a heat wave to equal the discomfort of any cold snap, with humidity creating ripples of sweat down the back whilst sitting doing absolutely naught. You may feel envious; but, don’t – a wet rag feeling (for me) is abominable! 🙂
Hope you are well covered and warm…
Has no one thought to tell the weather gods about moderation? Who needs all this extreme weather? I want to be like the baby bear and have it “Not too hot, not too cold. Just in the middle.”
Looks beautiful and have been watching your wild cold weather, as I sit on the beach on the other side of life. I like the view from both places! It’s all a miracle. 🏄🏾☀️⛄️🌬❄️
that’s the cutest video I’ve ever seen of a bald eagle…we have them here in Central NJ but have never seen that wild abandon…shake, shake, shake…they know how to cope!
It’s raining here in Northern California, and the thermometer is plunging to 49 tonight. I’m adding an extra blanket to the bed. Hahahaha. I love California. Sending you all feelings for warmth and hot toddies.
OMG. When i left my previous comment here I had not read about your surgery and subsequent syncope/ER episode. Forgive me for that, and definitely hope you are on the mend…and staying warm and comfortable. Hugs, Nurse Ratchet.
Good day to be searching for a puppy…just sayin

I have a friend from Fairfield CT sending pictures of the blizzard. She’s actually the one who introduced me to your blog.
