Table of Contents from: Be Glad You’re Neurotic” by Louis E. Bisch. (1946, original copyright 1936)
“From my admittedly low effort research, Be Glad You’re Neurotic is an example of early pop psychology publications. Bisch wants everyone to embrace their inner crazy, the idea that this is what makes you a better human (ie. superior). Bottom line: You can cure yourself by just embracing your inner freak.” By Mary Kelly, December, 7, 2017

Ha! Are you getting the most out of your insomnia Mr K? Love it all, and I’m happy to admit I’m insane 😜

I am Karen. I am. As to your insanity, like kind attracts like kind. 😐

Laughing – did you need any more reinforcement than the assurances of some of your favorite cyber-compadres?😉

Made me laugh with delight. Makes me think of the time, years and years ago (about 20-25 actually) when I repeatedly said to everybody who urged me to write books (I didn’t, surely to everybody’s relief) that my first book would be called WHY OH WHY DID I HAVE A NORMAL AND NON-ABUSIVE CHILDHOOD. Little did I know then that a short while later a non-ending series of books would be published on all the horrible childhoods all the authors had to live through! Not to poke fun, good heavens no, but this list just brought it up again in my mind. I would SO read that, even now!

I’ve just looked into the 2 links to above article….. made me wonder if my decision to buy was a good one…. BUT if the copy is a readable one, I can still pass it on to my other neurotic (in a good way, of course….) friends!

I think being on the straight and narrow and sane is highly overrated, not to mention boring.
