Saturday Morning

Got up on a cool morning. Leaned out a window.
No cloud, no wind. Air that flowers held
for awhile. Some dove somewhere …

Let the bucket of memory down into the well,
bring it up. Cool, cool minutes. No one
stirring, no plans. Just being there.
This is what the whole thing is about.

  1. This photo is so Beautiful. The light and shadow paintings the sun displays on walls are so mesmerizing. Especially at dusk and when it’s a dancing shadow of trees.
    I haven’t seen the sun in two days, this picture is about it lol

  2. i often turn to stafford’s poems for solace and encouragement…..’had the good fortune to meet him a couple of times, as he was an acquaintance of my late husband…bill was such a gentle soul….’much missed….
