Thank you for all of these recent posts, David. I’ve been writing an article on WWI pilots, and am ready to submit it to a local Princeton newspaper today! Those men were an amazing group most of whose lives were over by 1918. I recommend for just an example people look up Quentin Roosevelt on Wikipedia–what a charmer (from when he was 3 and grew up in the White House) through his taking off for France, and bringing his light wherever he went!
