Lightly child, lightly.

Donatas Zazirskas, freedom

Carry your shame in your teeth.
Spit
and spit and spit it out.
Doesn’t matter
if it’s in front of people.
They will (or won’t) forgive you.”

~ Tara Hardy, from “Cure” in My, My, My, My, My

  1. I really sort of love doing the spitting in public. Then, there’s no misunderstanding WHATSOEVER that the shame is not acceptable, nor will it be tolerated coming from others. Ptttuuee!
