Agree with paying back debts by remembering completely. But I think, having selective bad memory helps ease a lot of pain and anxiety in life. More along the lines of forgive and forget.
Looking ahead to the next four years? Difficult on some days to keep the positive, natural reflex of breathing in and out from seeming (like) more a mental and physical exercise of spitting in the wind.
