Then you sit in silence long enough, you learn that silence has a motion. It glides over you without shape or form, exactly like water. Its color is silver. And silence has a sound you hear only after hours of wading inside it. The sound is soft, like flute notes rising up, like the words of glass speaking. Then there comes a point when you must shatter the blindness of its words, the blindness of its light.

I take bits and pieces of what comes daily, to create a love note for people who are suffering or in grief. Thank you, per usual, for being that contribution.

Paula, So Interesting how you care for others…I like the concept of a “love note” for people. I like that you are open and collect & filter what is gifted to you each day. /// What David gifts us with, for me causes a ponder…always enriching and often touches my soul, with beauty and grace…/// Along my journey, recently I read this quote on a bench, I so agree with its, truth…”All that we love deeply, becomes a part of Us” every exposure we have impacts us greatly…and we learn.

Thanks! Just went on one of my cards…the most recent 21 day Postcard Recipient is a woman who’s mother is struggling with Alzheimer’s! My notes go out to (usually strangers) people whom I never, ever, get the chance to meet. This woman, however, was a close friend from years ago. It’s a pleasure to be at the service of Universe!

Hi Paula…You are welcome…Those who are recipients to your care will always remember your kindness…I do not know why occasionally my replies come up as anonymous. My name is Christie. It was a difficult experience being the daughter of a Mother with dementia…I looked as it as the reality of change…I grieved the reality, first of who she was and found the loving strength to embraced who she became…thankfully for me and my siblings the way it progressed in our Mom was that she knew and accepted the frustrating change, she knew she was loved and she was so Joy filled… the gift from God of having a Mom, a Mom who loved us, who lived a long life…and we celebrated the gift God Gave Her and Us children that of Dementia. Such a Gift, as the Very Hard Times She Endured Throughout Her Life Were Not Remembered…Replaced with Joy! A few days ago was the one year anniversary of her private graveside service…and her public celebration was a year ago the end of September, though she died in August, a year ago…and we know that her life force gave us life that flows strong in us today and how grateful we are of her protection, sacrifice & exposure to God…Now We Grieve The Loss Of Her Love… /// please share with the lady who is struggling with such heartbreak, that she is strong, capable, caring and prayed for…/// and I know That Each Breath Is A Gift and for me I know that God’s Hand is Over Me …God has graced me with strength to progress forward in Love, Gratefulness and Forgiveness…and I will Honor Him…

Does not look like the first time I attempted posting that it posted if the post shows up later. I apologize in advance for the repeat 🙂 David, I appreciate you sharing, what Anne Spollen gifts, is beautiful, true and so profound…floats and then settles in my Soul…/// As I write this as Susan Tedeschi and the Tedeschi Trucks Band “AnyHow” plays in the background, https://youtu.be/NwgEELSShrU so invigorating…and I think of how much Silent thought went into the artistic creation, that I enjoy…yesterday late afternoon I walked through my courtyard and the silence struck me as it has been of late…I stopped on the porch to gaze at the trees when the silence was momentarily filled with the sound of the hummingbird passing a few inches over my head, made me smile…and the night of the 18th, the silence accompanying and completing the time spent in awe of the night sky’s beauty, the moon, the stars…such a gift to the Soul…/// and when one wants a gift of sound, another Tedesch Trusks Band blues rock song that is so beautifully harmonic, soft & so clear is this cover https://youtu.be/6GkdCiqsFUI “Midnight in Harlem” she sings “of freeing your heart” /// Silence and Sound both gifts that transform…and then I think of those who can hear no sound and those we can not speak, and the silent tears migrate…and I think of how precious life is…and how thankful I am to have time to ponder, in silence…
