Saturday Morning

fall-autumn-scarf

Everything about autumn is perfect to me. Wooly jumpers, Wellington boots, scarves, thin first, then thick, socks. The low slanting light, the crisp mornings, the chill in my fingers, those last warm sunny days before the rain and the wind. Her moody hues and subdued palate punctuated every now and again by a brilliant orange, scarlet or copper goodbye. She is my true love.

  1. That is fantastic you find autumn so inspiring. I sort of have dual feelings: there is so much beauty in nature hesitating to go to rest, but the winter is near and that’s what I do not take too well. I’m commenting as if from my primary blog, but other thmes are on the secondary blog https://inesepogalifeschool.com/

  2. I love and welcome, Fall’s beauty, the comfort, colors, cooler temperatures, lingering pace and spicy flavors of Autumn…it is not a romantic time of year? My wedding anniversary is this month!

Mother Nature’s siren song, calling us to walk in the woods, breathe deeply, slow down, burrow in. Ah……
