Bad things are going to happen…
No matter how many vitamins you take,
how much Pilates, you’ll lose your keys,
your hair and your memory…
Your wallet will be stolen, you’ll get fat,
slip on the bathroom tiles of a foreign hotel
and crack your hip. You’ll be lonely.
Oh taste how sweet and tart
the red juice is, how the tiny seeds
crunch between your teeth.

Do you ever go through a time when it just feels like something bad is about to happen? I haven’t been able to sleep lately because I’ve had that feeling for some reason. My mom is 84, my youngest son is suffering from health issues, Bella is suffering from health issues, my own life is so hectic that I wonder how long I’ll be able to keep up this pace. So yes, through it all I need to remember to taste the sweetness. Life is a roller coaster, tart and sweet.

Wow, that is a lot going on. Let’s hope for all of this, including a slower pace for you, happens. Starting now…

Love it David. Someone once told me when I was stressing about whether I was being a good parent or not, making the right the decisions or not, that no matter what I did, my kid would need therapy one day. 🙂 That really helped because then I just checked my motive, was I doing something because I was motivated by love… ❤

Acknowledge the seeds and strain them out… Unless we need a little roughage of course!

I suppose how the seeds crunches between your teeth is what gives your life texture – without which there is no contrast to the sweetness or the tartness of the juice. But first – berries 🙂
