I let it go.
It’s like swimming against the current.
It exhausts you.
After a while, whoever you are,
you just have to let go,
and the river brings you home.

So exquisitely simple and yet so damned hard. It’s like getting caught in a riptide–they tell you ‘Don’t fight it, you’ll drown. Let the water carry you a ways til you’re out and can safely return to shore.’ And yet, our instinct is to fight–hard. Such an interesting brain tweak to start my day, pal, and that image is *soooo* cool!! 🙂
